Ashlee Simpson's baby keepsake gifts 'are all blue'

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's choice of baby keepsake gifts and nursery items have revealed they are having a boy.

The couple, who have filled in a baby registry at boutique Petit Tresor, have requested mainly blue gifts, reports CelebTV.com.

A salesperson, who helped the pair, told the website: "Almost everything is blue. They made it very clear that it was a boy."

The couple plan to come back to revisit the store next week, the representative added, as they want to discuss the nursery.

Pete, who is a member of Fall Out Boy, recently told a Phoenix radio show that he and Ashlee are busy making a baby scrapbook for their first child.

However, as he referred to the baby as 'them', he had to quickly deny reports they were expecting twins, reports TheCelebrityTruth.com.

He later explained to Perez Hilton he had used the term simply because he did not yet know the sex of the baby.
